WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar A Huge Success

KANSAS CITY, MO - February 24, 2005 – Coaches from 37 different states as well as Canada, Jamaica and the Bahamas attended the WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar at the Arrowhead stadium indoor practice field this past weekend, (February 18 - 20) making it the most widely attended soccer seminar in the region.

The International Coaching Seminar provided club, high school and college soccer coaches with an opportunity to learn from some of the most influential coaches in the world.  There was a Canadian/Scandinavian/World Cup theme for the weekend.  Tony DiCicco and Even Pellerud have both won World Cup Championships with the U.S. Women in 1999 and Norwegian Women in 1995 respectively.  John Walker is Canadian and Even Pellerud now coaches the Canadian Women's National Team.  The Scandinavian theme was provided by Roger Gustafsson of IFK Gothenburg (Sweden) and of course Even Pellerud who is Norwegian.  Added to these sessions were two sessions by strength and conditioning specialist, Zach Duval of Xplosive Edge who wowed the audience with his lecture and practical session.
