WORLD CLASS COACHING
International Coaching Seminar
A Huge Success

KANSAS CITY, MO - February 12, 2009 – Over 300 coaches from 34 different states as well as Canada and Poland, attended the WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar in Kansas City recently, (February 6-8) making it the most widely attended soccer seminar in the region.

The International Coaching Seminar sponsored by Soccer One provided club, high school and college soccer coaches with an opportunity to learn from some of the most influential coaches in the world.  The quality of sessions was excellent and many attendees said it was the best coaching seminar they have ever attended.

Bob Warming, of Creighton University conducted two sessions that demonstrated training sessions used at Creighton to develop forwards and attacking play.  David Williams, former Manchester United U18 coach, shared four training sessions on zonal defending starting with 1v1 and ending with 11v11.  John Walker, University of Nebraska Women's team coach, shared a session on 1v1 exercises and attacking from the flanks.  Dave Tenney of the Seattle Sounders demonstrated two Global Conditioning training sessions with a Ball.  These sessions will be published in a journal we will make available and some sessions will also appear in future issues of the WORLD CLASS COACHING magazine.  DVD's of each session will also be available in late March.

"I have been to the NSCAA Convention and other clinics, but I liked this one better than any of them and I learned more this weekend than I did on my B License."

"Out of the four years I have attended, this seminar was the best oriented to my level of players - boys and girls high school."

"I loved the whole weekend.  The topics were very useful with lots of good drills that I can put to use with my U12 team."
