Dear Coach,

Thank you for registering to attend the Nebraska WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar on February 11-12, 2011.

Seminar Location
Seminar will take place in the Hawks Championship Center, located on the northeast corner of Memorial Stadium.  You will find the Stadium on the left side of the map listed as Osborne Athletic Conference.  http://parking.unl.edu/maps/CityCampusParkingMap.pdf

Parking
Parking is available for Seminar attendees in the Stadium Garage (located directly west of Memorial Stadium).  On Friday, the cost is $1/hr.  On Saturday, parking is free.

  • Directions from the north (I-80) – Take the I-180 exit toward downtown (the road turns into 9th Street), once in downtown turn left on P Street, turn left on 10th Street, get in the right hand lane and continue north (sign will be for 10th Street and the Stadium), turn right on T Street and you will see the parking garage immediately on your left.
  • Directions from the south (Hwy. 2) – Follow Hwy. 2 to the west, it will curve north and turn into 10th Street, continue north into downtown area, once you pass P street you will want to be in the right hand lane and continue north (sign will be for 10th Street and the Stadium), turn right on T Street and you will see the parking garage immediately on your left.
  • Once you leave the parking garage, walk north along the stadium around to the northeast corner of the stadium and you will find the Hawks Championship Center.
  • Please do not park in University lots unless you have the appropriate parking permit.  The Seminar will not be responsible for any parking tickets.

 

Schedule Change
All the clinicians are confirmed.  However, due to various travel itineraries we have made some changes to the schedule of sessions.  You can see the updated schedule here.  Please note the later start and end time on Saturday.  http://www.worldclasscoaching.com/semsch.asp

Registration
Registration to receive attendance badges & coaches packets will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11th and continuing through the weekend for any late arrivals.  The seminar’s first session will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and continue through Saturday at 5 pm. 

Video Cameras/Pictures/Cell Phones
No video cameras are allowed during the seminar.  Photographs may be taken in between sessions but NOT while sessions are in progress.  WORLD CLASS COACHING is videotaping the entire seminar and this will be made available to all attendees at a discounted price.   Please silence your cell phones while the seminar is in progress.

Breakfast/Lunch
On Saturday morning we will have complimentary continental breakfast starting at 7.15 am.  Lunch is also provided at no cost and will be at noon.  Please note that no food is allowed on the field…bottled water only.  You will find coolers of water and Gatorade in the lobby on each floor in Hawks.

Hotel
Here is the link for the Holiday Inn, which is our host hotel and only a few minutes walk from the seminar location. If you haven’t done so, please book your room now.   There is a shuttle from the hotel to the seminar facility for those not renting a car.  The shuttle will run between the hotel and Hawks during the following times:
Friday                     4- 5pm and 8-8:30 pm
Saturday                7:15 – 8:00 am and 5:00 – 6:00 pm
