PRACTICE - Duos

Organisation
-
Group is split into pairs, with a ball between two.
- Players are placed
approximately 20 yards apart.
Practice
-
Take - Players
run towards each other, the red player running without the
ball takes the ball from the yellow player (figure 1).

Overlap – The
yellow player passes the ball to the red player. The yellow player
runs around the red player and receives the return pass (figure
2).

Foot on –
Players run towards each other, the yellow player running with
the ball stops with his/her foot on the ball. The partner takes the
ball then turns and repeats the exercise (figure 3).

Players are then allowed to decide whether to try
a take, overlap or foot on.
