Barca and Real finished 20+ points ahead of 3rd place Valencia in La Liga this last season so picking most of their players seems to make sense if you want the best chance of winning

Winning it all will justify their approach, which makes sense to me anyway in terms of team cohesion. The more guys already familiar with their teammates style of play, the better.
