After this weekends league games, IMO the U-18 boys cup seedings should be:

1) KCFC Rangers
2) WSO Thunder
3) KS Rush Nike
4) KCFC Blues

I concur...what were the scores of those matches?

...and after this weekend in the Girls U14/15 Div. 1 I definitely have to go with Skiddie on his early seeding picks.
1) KCFC United
2) Metro Dynamo's
3) Blue Angels
4) BV Arsenal
5) WFC United
6) Topeka United
7) Cholita
8) BV Millwall
9) KC United Rangers 96
10) KC Comets

Do they seed below 4?

This weekend I know Rangers beat Rush and KC Blaze, and Rush beat Blues.

Yeah TAF...I don't think they do anymore or it might just go to the top five and after that the dreaded "Blind Seed"

Hey Skiddie or anyone else out there that knows about the U14/15 Girls Div. 1 in Heartland, did the Metro Dynamo's and the KCFC Magic not play this past Sun. May 15th as they were scheduled to? Couldn't find their score.

jjflash: they tied

my opinion here: I was at observing as a fan/waiting on a field and/or worked several games this weekend...some of these sideline refs need a review on what an offsides is...so MANY of the side refs I saw were not staying with the last defender / ball as they should...you can't be a good asst. ref if you aren't in the right place. (However, I am not talking about the Magic/Metros matchup).

Just curious what this has to do with State Cup? Also, why post that here instead of providing feedback through the right channels where it could provide some correction/education to the appropriate individuals?

wdrush: many times on these forums, people get off topic--read back about the longhorn cattle, for example! LOL!
I didn't want to trouble with a new thread-I only mention it because I try hard to do the right thing and pay close attention as a ref, and it's frustrating to see some of these people who aren't paying attention, and it makes a difference in games.
As to appropriate individuals, you can count on it that I did that!

Wdr- skiddie didn't call out any names or anything and he didn't even give specific games where he witnessed this kind of AR inadequacies. He's just stating and I agree, that it may not seem like that big of deal sometimes, but it can really affect the outcome of games when the center ref isn't in the position to make a call and teams depend on those AR's being in position to make the correct call, whether it be raising the flag on an offsides or just awarding the correct team with a throw-in. I really wish some of these AR's would take it upon themselves to make a call when it comes to the extra curricular activity off the ball. Earn your money...earn some respect.
