WORLD CLASS COACHING Blog
Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the WORLD CLASS COACHING Blog. We plan on writing a blog three times a week. One or more topic will be coaching related with thoughts on training sessions, drills, exercises, games and general coaching. One topic will be a general rant or commentary of things such as the pro game, upcoming or previous games on TV, the general state of soccer, new soccer ideas, the World Cup, etc. Occasionally, we will also publish a blog about what’s happening and what is new at WORLD CLASS COACHING.
We would like to hear from you and what you think. What topics would you like covered? What information you would like us to post. We are also interested in having guest Bloggers. So if you have something you want to say, get in touch with me at mikesaif@worldclasscoaching.com

Hi Mike,
I would love to hear fitness related anecdotes from the professional clubs,
things like:
what elements of fitness do they work on during the week when they are in-season?
what’s a typical training week consist for a footballer?
how is the training split up to maximise benefits of elements of fitness?
what types of training are most popular?
why are some types of training preffered to others e.g. power training with weights versus plyometric training with boxes?
what do players eat before, at halftime and after games?
what are the thoughts of their conditioning coaches on sports drinks or new research like mouth rinsing?
how current is their thinking on hydration and refuelling?
would especially love to hear how teams physios get their players back from injuries e.g. wayne rooney!
Some great ideas there. We will do what we can to get some of that info in our blogs.
